The usual questions.
Is the menu really free?
It is. Creating, publishing and sharing the menu costs nothing and we don't ask for a card. You only pay for extras, such as unlimited photos, a custom QR code or the table stickers.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can write a message on your phone, you can build your menu. And if you already have a paper menu, photograph it and Ementado builds the structure for you.
I have no time to build the menu. Now what?
Send us photos or the PDF of the menu you already have, answer six questions, and we build it all for €29.99, one-off. The menu lives in your account and you change whatever you like afterwards.
Does my customer have to install an app?
No. They point the camera at the QR code, or open the link, and the menu appears in their phone browser.
Can I change prices after printing the QR code?
You can. The code always points to the same address. Change the price in the editor and it changes on every table at once.
How much are the table stickers?
From €3.90 down to €2.50 a table, getting cheaper with every table you add: 6 tables cost €23.40 and 20 cost €69. Each sticker carries a code of its own and, if you like, the table number, in your menu's colours, and you see a proof of every one before paying. They arrive in 5 to 12 working days, with free shipping anywhere in Portugal, islands included. On yearly Pro, the first 10 are free; Casa Cheia brings 50, without table numbers.
What if a sticker gets damaged?
If it peels, fades or the code stops scanning with normal use, we replace it at no cost, with the same design and the same code. The guarantee is 12 months indoors and 6 outdoors, and does not cover direct heat, such as a hot pan, or abrasive cleaning products.
How long until my menu is live?
Five minutes is enough for a simple menu. With photo import it is usually less.
Can I move from Pro to Casa Cheia, or back?
You can, from your dashboard, whenever you like. Moving up to Casa Cheia, you only pay the difference until the end of the current period, and the renewal date stays the same. Moving back to Pro, you keep Casa Cheia until the end of the period already paid and then pay for Pro. The current period is not refunded.
What if I want to stop using it one day?
Switch the menu off whenever you like, or delete the account. There is no lock-in and no compulsory monthly fee.
